Two of the four channels MultiChoice is closing on 16 September 2026 sit in the Family line-up: Mzansi Bioskop and Mzansi Music both go dark at 23:59 that night, alongside M-Net Movies 1 and kykNET Lekker on other tiers. MultiChoice’s explanation is that it’s consolidating overlapping channels rather than cutting content outright, so whatever you watched on Bioskop or Mzansi Music should resurface elsewhere on the Family line-up, but the channel numbers themselves stop broadcasting.
