What Accredited DSTV Installation in Franschhoek Includes
A proper DSTV installation is more than just bolting a dish to a wall. We start by walking the property with you to choose the best mounting position — facing the right satellite, clear of trees, gutters and roof obstructions, and accessible for any future maintenance. From there we mount the dish using galvanised brackets and stainless-steel fixings, align it on the correct elevation and azimuth for the Cape Winelands footprint, and weatherproof every cable entry against the wind and rain we get here.
We then run the LNB cable along the cleanest route possible — usually through trunking that matches your wall colour — and terminate at a new TV point in the room of your choice. Decoders are unboxed, connected to the dish input, paired to your HDMI input on the TV, and channels are scanned. We test signal strength on a calibrated meter, run the decoder through a quick self-test, and confirm every subscribed channel is loading before we pack up. 3. Cabling and TV points. We run high-quality RG6 cable through trunking from the dish to your nominated room, terminate it neatly at a wall plate, and connect through to the decoder.
4. Decoder setup and channel scan. We unbox, connect, scan and configure the decoder — HD, Explora or Explora Ultra — and load all your channels.
